STEPHEN L CARR

Stephen L. Carr, M.D. has long had a love for the Book of Mormon, possibly because of his middle name, Lamoni.  He has been an avid student of the Book of Mormon since his youth and particularly enjoyed discussing its principles with members of the Reorganized LDS Church (now Community of Christ) while on his mission.  During a break from medical school, he developed an internal map on its lands based solely on what is found in the record itself without attempting to place the locations in any specific part of the Western Hemisphere.  He also produced a chronological timeline of the interactions between the various groups discussed in the book.
Being a man of many interests, Steve has also written extensively concerning the ghost towns and railroads of Utah and recently had an article published by FARMS on the birds along the Lehi Trail in the Middle East.
He and his wife served a mission in South America where he was the Area Medical Advisor in Peru and Bolivia.
