2008 BMAF CONFERENCE HUGE SUCCESS





Saturday, October 18th, 2008, over 200 people attended the 6th annual Book of Mormon Archaeological Forum's annual conference at the Red Lion Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Attendees, who traveled from as far away as Mexico, were treated with scholarly Book of Mormon evidential presentations ranging from Isaiah to beards.  New research reports on archaeological progress were presented as well as a fascinating presentation on the family of the prophet Joseph Smith and Emma Hale Smith.

Following the presentations, a Round Table Discussion allowed members of the audience to ask questions of all the presenters.       
At an evening dinner, the "Father Lehi Award" was presented to
Elder Ted E. Brewerton  and the "Mother Sariah Awardto Sister Dorothy H. Brewerton.
