Every year in October, BMAF holds a one-day conference which features renowned and published LDS and non-LDS scholars. This year's 2008 BMAF conference was held on Saturday, October 18th at the Red Lion Hotel in Salt Lake City, Utah. The Keynote Speaker was Don Parry, Professor of Hebrew Bible Studies at Brigham Young University. Dr. Parry has authored or edited more than twenty seven books, ten of which pertain to the Dead Sea Scrolls. His books include Poetic Parellelisms in the Book of Mormon; A New Edition of the Great Isaiah Scroll; Understanding the Book of Revelation; Understanding the Signs of the Times; Temples of the Ancient World and many more.
