Richard Averett - Short biography

 
 
Richard Averett is a retired educator.  He was a teacher for junior high, high school, and university levels and has been the principal of elementary, junior high and high schools. After being an assistant superintendent of Human Resources in two California school districts, he completed his career as Superintendent of Schools in Grand County, Utah and also in Monterrey County, California.
Richard is married to the former Elaine Lemon of Vernal,Utah and they are the parents of five sons.  They returned in 2008 from their two year mission to Mexico City, where they served in the Polanco Employment Center and in the Barrio Palmas.  Richard currently serves in the Liberty Park Spanish branch and at the Welfare Square Bishops Storehouse.
