Douglas K. Christensen biography
Douglas K. (Doug) Christensen founded the Alma Success Academy, a school for returned missionaries, in Quetzaltenango, Guatemala. He has accompanied F. Richard Hauck, Bruce Warren, and V. Garth Norman on archaeological field trips to Mesoamerica. He has been a tour guide with Joseph L. Allen in Mesoamerica and Peru. Doug has an MBA from the University of Utah. He served an LDS mission in England in 1961 and has served as a bishop and high councilor (3 times). He is a Church Service Missionary at the College of Southern Idaho LDS Institute in Twin Falls, Idaho and has been an Adult Continuing Education instructor of Book of Mormon curriculum in Vernal, Utah. He is a member of the BMAF board and serves as webmaster.
